The exhibit of burning reed sculptures on Curonian Lagoon and the celebration of the Autumn equinox in Juodkrante

Each year the National park of Kurri Nerada invites to the celebration of the Autumn equinox in Juodkrante. Every year in Juodkrante, in the Amber bay, sculptors leave amazing reed sculptures. Causing joy all the summer sculptures are ceremoniously burnt in autumn. This way the sun retinue and ancestor’s remembrance are honoured. This ceremony commemorates Lithuanian traditions when fire was set to thank for the harvest.
