In the heart of modern Vilnius, just off one of the most bustling streets, is Radvila Palace. A Renaissance building with Mannerist detailing, and one of the residences of what was one of the most prominent noble families of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, today it is one of the country’s most distinctive galleries. Notable for the sheer diversity of the work it shows, it is not uncommon to see huge video installations from some of the brightest young artists being exhibited on one floor, whilst more traditional visual art is being shown on another.
