More information
It is one of Lithuania’s most distinctive and, dare we say it, fun, museums. Here, you can find around 3000 horned exhibits spanning the entire globe, including art works, souvenirs and masks.

The Rolling Stones famously sung about sympathy for the devil, and that’s something that’s in plentiful supply in one of Lithuania’s most distinctive and, dare we say it, fun, museums. Here, you can find around 3000 horned exhibits spanning the entire globe, including art works, souvenirs and masks. Apart from the creepy thrill of being surrounded by so much devilry, the museum provides a remarkable insight into how important these mythological and religious creatures are to our collective cultures. Began by the Lithuanian artist Antanas Žmuidzinavičius, the museum is still very much a work in progress, with visitors encouraged to bring a devil to donate to the collection. But be aware, as of Summer 2023, the museum is closed for renovations.
